Ricardo Donoso is a composer, percussionist, and electronic musician from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, who currently lives in Boston. He holds the drum chair in the avant 12-tone death metal band Ehnahre, is one half of the ever morphing electronic duo Perispirit, and also performs solo electronic music under his own name. In addition, he composes music for film and television.

His debut solo LP 'Progress Chance' on Digitalis Recordings was released in September 2011 to critical acclaim, displaying his more recent gravitation towards more techno infused, polyrhythmic synthesizer based electronic music.

Ricardo is also sole proprietor of the Semata Productions imprint which he curates and oversees.
